Advantages of using Blogs in the Classroom as a Teacher:
Can create classrooms with improved student accountability.
Create 'Paperless' classrooms.
Facilitates discussions between students.
Helps students become tech-savvy.
Helps tech-savvy students stay engaged.
Allows teacher to model appropriate online behaviour.
Allows opportunity to link to massive online content that would be impossible to 'hand out'.
Don't forget that blogs can be a great tool for parents to use as well!!
